DOE Announces Adjustment to Neighbor Island - Return to Learn Calendar
Aloha Students, Parents, and Families, the attached packet of information is for your reference given the changes occurring for Neighbor Island schools over the past two days. As a result of these changes our Administrative & Office teams worked yesterday to provide a scheduling option for students and families on August 17, 18, 19, 20. Office assistants will be calling over the next few days to check in on how all of you are doing and to work with you on the following:
Identifying one of the dates and times to work with Teachers (via telephone or virtual conferencing) on items that support our ability to work with you during Distance Learning.
Update phone numbers, email addresses, and contact information so we can continue to effectively reach out and work with all of you.
Please note that the items above are a starting point, as we align our efforts with "Phase 1" of the "HIDOE Return to Learn Memo”. The memo is attached and outlines the plan to meet student and family needs as we prepare for Distance Learning over the next three weeks.
On August 17, 18, 19, & 20 we will be providing "Grab n Go" Lunch Service Daily at 11:00am at our Kapiolani Street entrance.
You all know our unique and pleasant style with which we conduct our business here on campus and we hope to do the same with these opening conferences. It truly is a family-based approach unique to Hawaii, and our Island way of life. Regardless of the daily changes or educational format changes this is what you should feel when working with us. We are excited to get things rolling this school year, please stay safe and take care of one another.
Mahalo,
Bryan Arbles
