Aloha HUS Families!

Next week, January 26–30, we are celebrating Kindness Spirit Week! We have a fun theme for every day to help spread positivity on campus. Plus, the grade level with the highest attendance each day wins a prize!

Here is the schedule (and easy alternatives if you don’t have the specific items!):

🌿 Monday (1/26): We Don’t Hide from Kindness! Wear: Camo Alternative: Green, black, or brown

☀️ Tuesday (1/27): Share the Spirit of Kindness! Wear: Yellow, Alternative: White or orange

🦸 Wednesday (1/28): Powered by Kindness! Wear: Superhero attire, Alternative: Red

✌️ Thursday (1/29): Peace, Love, and Kindness! Wear: Tie Dye Alternative: Bright neon colors

🌺 Friday (1/30): Show Aloha for Kindness! Wear: Aloha Friday attire. Alternative: Your "Sunday Best"

Hauʻoli Makahiki Hou! We hope you and your ‘ohana enjoyed the holidays. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back for the 3rd Quarter on Tuesday, January 6th.

Please mark your calendars for these important dates coming up this month:

Tuesday, Jan 6: 🎒 Students return to school.

Monday, Jan 19: 🇺🇸 Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (No School).

Tuesday, Jan 20: 🏫 Hilo Complex Day (No School). Please plan for a 4-day weekend for students!

Friday, Jan 23: 💯 100 Days of School Celebration! Stay tuned for more details on how we will celebrate this milestone.

Week of Jan 26-30: 🤝 Kindness Week. We will have special activities all week long—more info coming soon!
